Owl Creek Reservoir Recreation Area has two lakes for kayaking/paddle boarding, great hiking and playground with basketball -less than a 5 min drive.

The Little Schuylkill River in our front yard is calling you. Additional fishing options close by: Lehigh River, Tuscarora, Locust Lake, Mauch Chunk, Hickory Run, Beltzville, & Lehigh Gorge State Parks, and less than a 5 min drive to Owl Creek Reservoir Recreation Area.

Enjoy some time out on the water. Visit The Little Schuylkill River for 17 miles of canoe-able river, and both Locust Lake State Park, and Tuscarora State Park for activities both on land and in the water!

Explore local fun! Visit the area's only escape room, The Art of Escape, ride through an extensive off-road trail system at Anthracite Outdoor Adventure, go Whitewater Rafting in the Lehigh River, and if you're with your little ones, bring them to the Climb-a-lot Clubhouse.

Stop by some local shops and markets, including: Hope Hill Lavender Farm, Hometown Farmer’s Market, Tink’s Antiques, Cabelas, Vintage 61 Store, and The Hofford Mill, and treat yourself to a shopping spree!

 Stop in at some of the local museums, including: Jerry’s Classic Car and Collectibles Museum, No. 9 Mine & Museum, Tamaqua Historical Society Museum, Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine.
